After successful completion of all academic requirements of the degree program, graduates of BEEd should be able to practice the teaching profession in the elementary level. The BEEd degree program also draws from various disciplines like social sciences, science, mathematics, technology, languages and humanities to ensure that the graduates have a multi-disciplinary preparation in content and pedagogy. The Bachelor of Science in Environmental Science is based on the major science disciplines such as biology, chemistry, physics, earth and marine sciences, and mathematics. In addition, the BS in Environmental Science program includes training in the social sciences so that its graduates will be equipped to understand the important role of ethics, society, and culture in the environment.

Program Objectives:
The program aims to expose students in an integrated way to environmental processes and phenomena, as well as environmental issues from the perspective of the natural sciences. It aims to train them to recognize and understand the natural environment, how humans affect the environment, and how the environment impacts society.

The BS in Environmental Science graduates should be:
